Kids from another marriage

Sorry I care barely deal with my own kids and am not willing to deal with someone else's.

Heather-

What if you got married again? Wouldn't you want someone to love your kids as if they were your own? That is a very ignorant comment. I am in my second marriage and my husband does a wonderful job of being a great step-father and role model to my two children. What if he took your stance.

By the way- the fact that you can barely deal with your children may be enough said.

If you really feel you couldn't handle someone else's kids, then make sure you are honest with yourself about the guys you go out with. Don't talk yourself into thinking that maybe you could handle it ok just because you like the dad. Second marriages succeed or fail largely based on how you blend with the kids.
